First off, I'm a Linux newbie... I was using Linspire 4.5 but it was too idiot proof. So I got dls and installed it, i like it execpt I can't get online with it. I have changed all the com port settings and still nothing. Linspire was able to use it after I switch ports to ttyS2... so i tryed it in dsl and nothing... 0 and 1 has some error type stuff on the top of the terminal window that pops up, 2 and 3 everything looks fine to me, but the light don't flash and it does not dial or anything.

Zoom/Faxmodem 56Kx DUalmodem Model 2948L via Serial cable.

Any ideas?
I'd like to get this to work... I spent 5 3/4 hours downloading this linux (21.6K sucks)
