SO....

I got 2 Laptop

On the first one , ( P3 650 + 384Mo RAM + 30Go ) I boot on live CD, Mount Usb HD, Go to Ndiswrapper and filling with Wireless parameter ( path to driver, ssid, wep )
When i Clic on OK, it's working, i got an IP address, and all is fine.

On the second laptop ( P1 266 + 32Mo RAM + 30Go ) I boot on live Cd, and I do EXACTLY the same thing.....but.... It won't work.
Everything i got is : "Connection failed"

I do NOT understand.

Please help, i don't want to install win2k on this laptop.

Does the system see the card?
Check dmesg for any potential problems.

Some older laptops do not support cardbus.
Many times you can tell by the newer pcmcia cards have a gold colored edge/strip. My old laptop will not work with those cards.
The older pcmcia silver colored edge work fine.

Sometimes pci=assign-busses boot option will make it work.

Look in the DSLpanel and the PCMCIA tool to see if your card is listed there.

If your card is seen then..

Second thing, ndiswrapper requires much ram, watch for that too.
You may want to stop torsmo and some other utils from running.

Yes the pcmcia card is present in the control panel, so it may work.

I'll try to stop some util to have enought ram for ndiswrapper ( ? )

Edit : Still have problem. Now booting from Hd install so Ndiswrapper tell me connection failed much more quickly but that's all :(

ndiswrapper -l show driver well installed...

Edit 2 :

This is what i get with dmesg :
