After a week of failure, I finally succeded in getting my Netgear WG511T wireless card to work. What was the trick you ask? Use the install disk that came with the card and install in on a WIN2K box and extract the INF file. I had done it on my WINXP box and it seemed to go fine, but would never connect. I used Ndiswrapper with this new INF file and am up and working. Thanks to everyone that has posted suggestions over time on how to make cards worked. This forum is a wonderful resource. If anyone has problems with this card, contact me and I'll be happy to send the INF file your way. If there is a place to upload it for other users, let me know that too.
