Hey everyone,
I'm new to DSL and really Linux in general, so I don't know about a lot of the more popular programs yet.
Anyway, here's the deal: A friend of mine has an old laptop that she wants to use (P2-400mhz) for wireless internet access. It had Win98 on it, and that is just unacceptable, so I decided to move her to Linux.
DSL runs great - much better than stinky old Win98. Everything is initially detected fine, except for the Hawking HWC54G wireless card, which now runs without a hitch through ndiswrapper.
My dilemma is, as the topic title suggests, that I need a graphical wireless manager for her to use. I would personally be comfortable with command line scanning/connecting, but that will absolutely not work for her. What is available for DSL? As I understand, many cards don't support scanning with ndiswrapper (or Linux in general), but this one works fine with that.
Thanks for any help.
