Hello,
quick spec: HDinstall DSL3.2
installed mydsl extensions: gnutils and gcc1 with libs
wlan card: asus wl-167g rt2500 chipset. Im not sure about this but apparently rt2500 on usb sticks is called rt2570?

what i have tried:
downloaded and extracted serialmonkey rt2570 driver
i went to the Module library in emelfm
i did:
sudo su
make && make install

i got a message:
Makefile:170: /lib/modules/2.4.26/build/Rules.make: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target
`/lib/modules/2.4.26/build/Rules.make'. Stop.
----end of output----

anyone got an idea?

I think you're missing the kernel sources. They might be needed to build modules. I've just had the same error on Slack 11 building the same module, and am going to install the source now..... yeap, building :)

@lacibandi: did you succeed in compiling and using drivers for your USB RT2500?

It issems to me that there is no way to use an USB RT2500 wireless card in DSL, isn't it? Was anyone able to use such a card with DSL?

Thanks,
Stefan

Wasn't this card the one that would not work with SMP kernel?
Perhaps they have recently changed their driver? I would look at their README and check that first.
