every time i try to setup my modem it works fine... but then when i try to dial, it says it got no dial tone...... do i have to be logged in as "DSL" or something? i cant get it to work .... i even tryed giving it some potatos... but it just got mad and shut down  lol... anyway....on topic... i use aol so i dont know what i have to put in the box that says "what is the number your modem has to dial to get online?" so i just put one of the numbers AOL dials when i go online in windows...wait... if anyone uses aol and has it set up then can you tell me how you did it? i tryed everything and still got nothing... so do i need to install it to my hard drive? heheh i dont have anything else to try... but i dont know how to make a new partition on windows 2000 pro... so i have no idea how to install it.... ahhhh! anyway.. so i was thinking that dsl maybe just wont work on this computer... so i tryed a newer linux.... but i still could not get online... so i thing im doing something wrong  heh..... well if you need more info to help me with this then just say so
