I am using Monkey web server with the php.tar.gz DSL enxtension intsalled so I can use a php file manager called FileThingie. It's just a one file php script. Anyway...
THe file manager works fine, except I can't upload anything over 2mb. I need to send mp3z and video and things.

I searched for php config on Google as well as on this board and all the guides say to edit the php.ini file to configure php. However, Installing the "php.tar.gz" from the extension library does NOT install a php.ini file. Well I can't find it anyway. I made a test.php file and it listed the "Configuration File (php.ini) Path" as "/opt/php/lib". Hower, no php.ini file resides there(or anywhere on my machine aprently). The info for php.tar.gz is scant. Any ideas?

BTW, I am using sudo emelfm and hidden files is "ON", and I'm root.

I think you can find that file location with:

<?php
PHPinfo();
?>

also look here
