I've got an old Toshiba 2545 CDS laptop. AMD k6-2 333 with 96 MB ram. I've set the bios for cardbus mode for my cardbus wireless card (model and version listed in title of post). Also I'm using DSL 1.1, booting from cd. I'm a noob to Linux, and not sure which order I should use to set up the card. I've gotten the ndiswrapper to recognize and activate the card, but nothing beyond that. It seems that once the card is active, the machine likes to hang for about 10 seconds every 15 seconds or so. The mouse will continue to move however. I've tried to set up the wireless (wlanconfig, I think) through the control panel. I set my channel and (e?)ssid for my AP, but DHCP will not receive an address from my router, and a scan via command line (iwlist wlan0 scan - per sourceforge ndiswrapper instructions) returns no results. I have my AP set up to broadcast, and not have any WEP. Basically, just wide open. Am I missing something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Darrell
