Hi, I am trying to run DSL on a Compaq Presario 2100, and I have a D-Link DWL-G132 USB wireless adaptor. From what I have found out this is based on the Atheros chipset, which there have been successes reported in these boards. However, my adaptor isn't even detected by iwconfig like other people say theirs are. The power light on the stick doesn't even come on, even after DSL gets through booting up. I really need to get this working, because I learned the hard way that PCMCIA cards don't work on my laptop (even in windows using the windows drivers that come with them) due to some nasty IRQ sharing done by the BIOS. I'm not new to linux (I've been using SuSE for years), but I am new to DSL.
