Hi guys.
Is it possible to have two nics in DSL, and assign each nic separate gateways.? ( while having same subnet, and ip range? )
eg.
Home network is on 192.168.0.X lappy connects via eth0 to a switch.
secondary nic WLAN0 obtains 192.168.0.X as well from an access point. same subnet
is it possible to assign ETH0 a gateway of 192.168.0.254 so it connects to my home lan, while assigning WLAN0 which has the eth1 alias, a gateway ip of 192.168.0.1 ?
the idea is so WLAN0 goes out to the net via 192.168.0.1 while eth0 goes out only to my lan via eth0
did i make sense?
