Hi there,
I am very impressed by this small linux distribution! On my desktop-pc it runs without any problems. But I would like to use it on my notebook(IBM Thinkpad 760 ED; 64 MB RAM; solution 800x600 under windows 98) as an emergency os. So I downloaded DSL 2.02.Everything with booting is clear. I made a bootdisk and DSL starts booting from my cd-rom. But when the grafic startscreen should start it hangs off. I only see stripes in different colors. I already tried commands (eg fb800x600 or vga=normal and so on) But it doesn't work.
Any ideas how to solve that problem?
Thank you very much

I had the same problem with my IBM Thinkpad 760 XL,  well a similar problem, it just kept saying "invalid mode number"  or something, I pressed the space bar, and it showed up fine after that (shrugs)

It just won't detect my pcmcia CD-ROM for some reason, I don't know why.  Its a Vintech 24x PCMCIA CD-ROM drive
