Hello, I am trying to use DSL on an old Compaq Armada 4100 laptop (Pentium 75MHz, 24Mo RAM, 800x600 8bits display ) I succeeded to make a HD install, but the display has some problems: In 8 bits colors, the palette is totally garbled (blue instead of black, green instead of red etc) In 4 bits colors, the palette is OK , but no background is loaded: I stay with the black/white pixels of the X startup, which makes hard to read the display. When I quit X, the console is not displayed, only a flickering cursor! Some ideas?
