I'm trying to load DSL in a Toshiba Satellite 4060XCDT with following specs:
Mobile Pentium333MHz
Memory(MAX) 64MB(192MB)
HDD 4.3GB
Display 14.1inch TFT 1024x768
Display controller Trident Cyber9525DVD
Video RAM 2.5MB
Sound PCI

This is the error I get and it freezes here:

So, what am I doing wrong and what can I do?

Thanks

I have a little older Toshiba 4010cdt

I had to use fb800x600 and choose fbserv when booting.

Don't know if this will apply to you.

Sorry but I'm a complete newbie in Linux
How do I do that: "fb800x600 and choose fbserv when booting"

So was I...

When booting DSL, are you going off the CD?

When you boot off the CD, you get the boot prompt. At this point you can type what are known as "cheat codes". If you press f2 or f3 you will get a list of cheat codes.

Solved! It seems it has always to work in "fb" mode.
Can these settings (fb,fbserv, keyboard, etc) be saved for the next reboots? I already installed DSL in the hdd and the idea is to minimize the user input in the boot sequence so it can be used by morons :) I need it to boot the correct way and go to the desktop without user intervention

Regards
