Hello

I installed DSL 4.1 to my old laptop on a 2 GB CF.

I used the frugal install from the "Alternative Poorman's Install" found HERE.

I'm able to start my laptop, it runs X but during the boot when it does the "auto configuring devices" I have this error message multiple times:
"modprobe: modprobe: Can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/2.4.26/modules.dep (no such file or directory)"

any idea?

Regards

okay, I found the problem...

I was using /boot/linux24 and /boot/minirt24.gz from the floppy...

I put the ones from the cd and everything works now...

sorry...
