when i boot with failsafe, it indicates this:

SMB motherboard not detected
...
esr value before enabling vector: 000000022

in mandrake, when the same thing happens, i can boot with the noapic and nosmp parameters and it works fine.

however for dsl this does not work.

help pls!!
