I installed DSL on the HD of a MITAC 5033 Notebook.
Every second boot stops after the message
'Cardmgr[54] + Default modem setup'
The next message would be something with 'USB devices'.

The only way to go on is to switch off the computer. With the next boot comes a filesystem check and after this I can't login because hda1 is mounted read-only. So I have to reboot the sytem again. Then it boots correctly, but the next time it will hang again.
The Problem doesn't appear when booting the DSL-CD (with floppy) (I think booting the live-system every startup is the first startup.)

In /var/log/... I can't find any log-file which mentions the problem.
