y need to use DSL but my touchpad stay always on bottom, she move left to right but always on bottom, when y try move to top y switch on an other workspace. What can y do ?

ps : y have a ps2 mouse but she don't works.

1. Use serial mouse.  ( my solution for now )

2. Install XFree86 using framebuffer

That synaptics trackpad works in XFree ..  not in XFBdev or XVesa
Other laptops can use their trackpads..  just these compaq's seem stubborn..
