I have a TP760XL. This Thinkpad does not support boot from CD, and it can only have either floppy disk or CDRom, not both. Does anyone have experience installing DSL on this type of machine. I cannot boot with Floppy and then install using CD, as the 2 devices are not interchangable. I am hoping to install DSL into the harddisk, but I read that it need to boot to DSL first before it can install to HDD. This thinkoad does not have USB, and I believe there is problem with the Video driver.

Anyone can share their experience with me so that I can enjoy using DSL? Thanks.
