Hi!I just installed DSL0.7, when it started DSL0.7,PCI Yamaha(XG)724 F-V sound card was detected ,once entered GUI no sound at all,I went to control panel and I was told this kind of Yamaha724 won't be supported............. no sound for music CD. searching through google,It should work with Yamaha724 driver ,but in fact it doesn't... maybe it need more exotic setting under control centre, or maybe even change CHIP ID,etc.....? I also made a test to install RTL8139D PCI ethernet card , at DSL initiation every relevent settings seemed to be ok, once trying to go online it stalled with "no network can be accesed". that's really strange, it should work ,while in fact it couldn't...... Could that was caused by DSL0.7's attached driver for "RTL8139D" is only suitable for older kernel?May the most updated driver from "realtek" website work well for it? in addition another PCI dial-up modem card---intel 536ep even could be detected at all, should I try to install it with the most updated driver on intel's website? would that work? Here's my PC hardware composition as following: ========================== inter pentium 166 CPU, 64 M RAM, inter 430 TX mother-board, seagate 4.3G hard disk(bigfoot), Creative graphic blaster exxtreme PCI graphic card(Permedia 2 Rev1 chipd), diskette drive, Yamaha724PCI sound card , Lite-on 52X speed CD-rom, WS5628-B PCI modem( Ambient MD5628D-L-C Chips)/( another name:intel536ep), ========================= How to fix these issues? do share with me ,ok?
