need VIA Velocity driverForum: User Feedback Topic: need VIA Velocity driver started by: somethingdignified Posted by somethingdignified on Dec. 20 2005,01:11
For reasons I can't understand, I haven't found a USB-stick distro yet (that I can get to boot) that supports Velocity, VIA's onboard NIC. No distro is of any use to me without this driver, so I hope I find it in the next version of DSL. Thanks!

I have a couple of Via motherboards. Both of their onboard NICs work fine with DSL.Which board are you using? Jeff Posted by somethingdignified on Dec. 20 2005,15:23
I'm using the Abit AV8. The Velocity driver comes standard with 2.6 kernels, and I think it may not with 2.4, but it's certainly available.
