I hate to sound like a beer comercial but BRILLIANT! I think that as the internet speed get faster the need for large bulky operating systems will be unnecessary and dsl is on the cutting edge. The MyDSL connection is exactly what I imagine for the future of end user computers.
Thanks for the great Linux OS

I have happily tried out DSL before, but I may have missed one or two releases lately - I've actually been working full time in the software industry again, so I have had less time than I've had the past four years or so to test out new software releases.

Once again, I am favorably impressed with the combination of small footprint and good performance with DSL 2.2.  I noted a few options that I did not remember trying out before - particularly JVM - I think I have used only Fluxbox in the past - maybe I just didn't notice this feature previously.

Anyway, I tried loading toram, setting vga=792 (16M colors @ 1024x768) with JVM and this combination is terrific!

I use DSL in this way when I just want to do mainly Web browsing.  Man, does the browser pop right up and take off!  Page rendering is really quick when you run a browser from RAM.

I suspect a lot of people use DSL with multimedia apps.  I am more of a basic technical user.  I don't really use a lot of the features, but I use text editors, Email clients, and Web browsers quite a bit.  You can't beat DSL for these kinds of things.

Great job once again!
