hello,
i'm new to linux and this is the first time, i try DML. i've tried versions 0.5.1.1 and 0.5 and with both versions i got this kernel panic on boot (can't mount root partion..or smth). i checked md5 and they were fine...:(
any ideas

Try feeding the disk your computer ram size:
knoppix mem=[your ram size]M

Looks like sometimes there is a clash between your actual ram size and what the system recognizes.
