Ive made a bootable distro cd with syslinux.iso and i also saved the KNOPPIX file from the embedded version on to the cd, because i had the same error while trying this before
the error message says:
CANT FIND KNOPPIX FILESYSTEM,SORRY DROPPING YOU A (VERY LIMITED) SHELL PRESS RESET BUTTON TO QUIT
in big mean RED letters.....i really really like this distro, ive tried it once and i would really like to try the cd distro version outside windows.....
by the way....im running on windows me
(I know....GAK!)
+please help me ...im running out of blank cds.....

OK, the good news is, it sounds like you can boot from a CD. I would recommend you go ahead and try the live CD outside of Windows. You can't hurt anything, and it boots up fast and recognizes most hardware. You can get some boot options by pressing the F2 and F3 keys when you boot. Try downloading the isolinux version and burn the .iso file using a Nero, or CDBurnerXP Pro. Don't just copy the .iso to a CD, you need to select from the menu the option that burns the CD image from the .iso file.

HAHAHH! im very stupid, i guess, that worked very well, thank you for your help, it loaded the distro! ITS SO FAST COMPARED TO Mellinium Edition!
