Hello,

i have downloaded dsl 2.2b on my P4 3ghz pc with asus p4p800e deluxe motherboard... i have installed 1gb ram and a lot of hard disks....

after burning the iso on cd and rebooting the pc, starting dsl with install

the screen hangs after a pci acpi information... have also testet to run in failsave also hanging there...

when i only enter dsl then the screen goes black and hangs...

when i start with failsafe then there cames 2 tux's on the top of the screen the cursor flashes a few times and then hangs up?!

what can i do?!

Try it on a different PC to verify it's not  a corrupt iso?

I had a problem on a totally different mobo that was hanging on the boot.  It was due to my external hard drive connected via the usb port.  I also had the problem with an external CD ROM.  I did not pursue this issue, just turn the device off until the boot completed and then turn them on.  It works fine then.
