I have tried a lott of small distributions but so far DSL is the best. I'm running an old Dell Inspirin 3500, 336 mhz, 128 mb and a wireless network pcmcia Netgear WG511T. I tok out the harddisk and the computer is complete quiet. Running DSL 2.3 re-done a little with "mkmydsl". It starts from cd, and toram. Now I have the perfect little computer standing in the kitchen, for everyone in the family to use for interner, mail, chatting and so on. Without harddisk no one can mess anything up. I also made the sound work, this is the first time I got the sound work on this old machine with Linux.
Damn Small Linux is Damn Great Good. :)
