DSL uses openSSH 3.6.1p2 from the beginning.
Even Sarge includes openSSH 3.8.1p1
And Ubuntu back to 2004 was using 3.8.1p1 !

Please update to at least 3.8, as a very important feature is available since 3.8:

It is not always possible to change "ClientAliveInterval in the server's sshd_config" on the server (We may not be root !)
And to be able to add "ServerAliveInterval in the client's ssh_config", minimum version is 3.8 !

Please update openssh to at least 3.8.1p1 ...
It's painfull to have to recompile a package with a live distribution (Especially when using DSL embedded to connect to linux box using a company PC ...)

The option "ServerAliveInterval" is usefull to simulate an activity and avoid to be deconnected every 10 seconds !
