Hi all,

Few minutes ago i have to install this realy small, but great Linux on the flashdisk of an  "old" Thin Client.

My Problem was/are that this Thin Client havn't an PS2 Device. So i  have to use an usb-keyoard. First i boot DSL via USB-stick. At startup i can't use the keyboard, but that is not problematical. After Fluxbox lunched it will do his job.

But after the "Hardware Installation" DSL to reboot because its necessary. Lilo Works fine, i can choose at lunch. After he boot the Kernel and before it login, dsl ask for a new Root password, but now i can't use my keyboard :(

I try now to find out what i must do, for usb-support at lunchtime :)

I post this because i think, its a good idear to check by the installation-skript, if there is an USB-keyboard and print a message or something.

The Bios Settings are all right... i dont know what is is/was.

But if i put reset.. fsck check the drive and it start without a root-pw. Fluxbox boot and i use.

Code Sample
..$ sudo su
root@box# passwd
...

I love DSL! :)
