Someone here asked if anyone was using the FTPand/or Monkey ( Web Server ) Daemons on DSL. I've been tinkering with both functions receiving images from a Network Security Camera. Typically a Network Security Camera will FTP a single image with the same name lets say: video.jpg overwritting the same image, same name, over and over. Or. A series of images time and date tagged. 11:08:06:16:30:35video.jpg 11:08:06:16:30:40video.jpg 11:08:06:16:30:45video.jpg sequence tripped to run on movement in front of the camera, so on and so forth. Since DSL can run quick in small DRAM and maybe even completely from USB Thumb drive then maybe a PC ( even a WinBlows PC ) can double as a Security Data server ( only receives data ) at night to capture those images.
