You could set your hard drive setting to use your physical one.

You have to set it in vmware first - see their help files.

Installing VMWare Tools: There is a menu at the top, can't remember off the top of my head, I believe it is the "VM" menu, last option is to install VMWare Tools.Being able to see the Windows partition: When the virtual machine is off, click on the "Edit Virtual Machine Settings" on the left side, and in the new window that pops up, click on "Add". Add a harddrive, and select use physical disk in the next window. I haven't used either under Linux, mainly because I just boot off the CD.... Ok, read help files. Try to install vmware tools. Wrote: sudo su su - cd /tmp rpm -i VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.i386.rpm rpm: extract_archive: usr/bin: File exists 83546 blocks not hapy end............................. What wrong? |
