I am following the instructions on making an extension with MyDSL.  I picked the app called xfireworks.dsl and it downloaded fine, into the /ramdisk/tmp directory.

Now I want "run" it.  I cannot.   I go to desktop, click on MyDSL icon, click on Load Local MyDSL Extension, click on xfireworks.dsl to highlight it, click on OK and nothing happens!   The display just jumps back to the menu of buttons that one gets on clicking the MyDSL icon.  HELP

In the second set of instructions on adding MyDSL it says: "Press the MyDSL button in EmelFM."  There is no such button!   I also loaded the superuser version of EmelFM and there was no MyDSL button there, either.  Any ideas?

EmelFM works fine for other things.

The myDSL tool is for installing only, not for running applications.  If the MyDSL tool did nothing (no error message, no freeze), then it was probably successful in installing the package.  Check for a "MyDSL" section at the top of your desktop menu, and also read the *.info file associated with your mydsl package to see if there are any possible issues or dependencies.

The myDSL button no longer exists in emelfm.  This is a recent change which has not be updated in the wiki.
