Please help. I got to the A-prompt. What do I do next?
I run AMD2500+ processor with 1GB memory, Win2000. And I'm a total newbie to Linux and DSL.
I downloaded the files 'dsl-3.0.1.iso' and 'dsl-3.0.1.iso.md5.txt' and burnt 'dsl-3.0.1.iso' on a bootable cd with Nero. Also gave priority in the bios to cd-booting.
It boots, allright. I get lots of white info running over the black screen (hardware found and drivers, I assume), and it all ends with something like (first character missing and then):
DR-DOS]  A>
Hmm... That's vaguely familiar from a long long time ago. I remember thick books with commands I had to learn by heart.
So now what do I have to do next? Do I type a command after the A-prompt? Or type the string that is in the md5.txt-file? Or? Please help.

Your CD was not burned correctly.  You made a bootable CD that includes the ISO rather than simply burning the ISO as a disk image.  This gives you a small version of DOS, and no Linux.
