Interesting, is that ftp mounted as some hdX ?Because DSL will only look on what it sees as locally attached media. Is 50,490,597 KNOPPIX a directory with a 'knoppix' file in there? Of course, you could always install to your usb drive instead. Posted by kissson on Oct. 25 2006,10:52

Have you tried using 'toram' in the kernel parms?
