Hi fellas!

I get a screen with a penguin and the option to press enter or F2 or F3. I press enter, and the screen just goes black. My flatscreen displays: input signal out of range.  ???

My computer specs are found here:

< I CONNECT M1740 >

My screen: an LG FLATRON L1510S

Ps: yes I have checked out the FAQ, the Wiki and searched on this forum. There was no ultra n00b category. Really appreciate it if someone can help me out.  :;):

Try out some video modes...
i.e. vga=normal
or try some fb modes..

Or some power ones...
i.e. noapci and/or acpi=off

There's more info in the wiki page on cheatcodes.

My old PC wont start too. I am using the syslinux live cd.
I tried already lots of cheatcodes but they dont help.

When i press enter it starts loading 2 files and a few seconds later the pc reboots.

In failsafe it says something like "Bios too old, acpi cant be emulated, Try acpi=force"
But that doesnt work.

Dont know how to solve it.
