I have saved myDSL downloads onto hda1. These include GTK2 and Firefox 1.5.0.6. At (what appears to be) random, parts of myDSL do not get loaded, or at least, they are not appearing on the mydsl right-click menu.

This happens on my desktop and laptop.

Help!

Simon

Most likely your backup is overwriting the boot time autoloaded extension menu items. Add the following:

home/dsl/.fluxbox/mydsl.menu

to you .xfiletool.lst and you should be fine.

Yes, I have that entry in xfiletool.

I have noticed that it is the UCI files that get omitted, still seems to be at random.

There are entries in the mydsl.menu folder.

I've realised that the extensions that don't load are the UCI ones.

Does this help?

Afaik newer versions of DSL autoload .uci's
If yours doesn't, add the load commands to /opt/bootlocal.sh

I can not use mydsl extension!
Where I can create mydsl directory? I have Frugal install to hard disc hda3 250 mb, other dist on fat32.

either create /cdrom/mydsl if you're running frugal and not running toram, or mount /dev/hda3 and create /mnt/hda3/mydsl. These are the same location, accessed through different paths.
