i have installed dsl in my 486 with 200 mb hard disk.dsl run perfectly,but i need to remove firefox to save some space. at the moment i have only 70 mb empty on my disk. my old 486 cannot run firefox. how to remove firefox? thanks for the help! Posted by ^thehatsrule^ on Nov. 29 2006,19:40
You could try using mikshaw's script that was posted in these forums.or else you could search your file tree for mozilla/firefox. Posted by mikshaw on Nov. 30 2006,19:40
sudo rm -rf /usr/local/{,bin/}firefox

If it isn't already done you can delete /home/dsl/.mozilla to save more space (If you don't plan to use firefox then the config files are useless).
