Greetings and Happy New Year to everyone!

I've been using DSL since version 0.8 mainly to learn Linux, and what a great tool DSL has been to learn with.

Last year I had a lightning strike at my house. It took out my computers, router, modem, directv receivers and a television. Some other appliances were not touched. It's crazy how lightning works.

I replaced my computer and use DSL as the operating system of choice. I am able to use it to print from a networked printer, listen to music, play video and all of the other functions I did with my old Windows XP computer.

Since DSL 0.8 I have tried several other linux distributions and always came back to DSL. It's just so simple to install, operate and maintain, I don't think I'll ever switch back to Windows. No drivers to install, no blue screens of death, everything works, it's like the energizer bunny, it keeps going and going!

In closing I want to thank John & Robert for creating DSL. IMHO it's the best linux distro available.
