Hi, I'm new to DSL and I have some problems..

To start with, how do I add files to the monkey directory.. it says I don't have the right permissons.. (I have made a HDD install of the latest DSL version)

And I have set up a few accounts in the betaftp server, but I want their folders to appear in the monkey directory.. so that this will work.. www.mydomain.com/test_user  So all their files they uploaded through the ftp will be visible via the http server.

And how do I login as root not only in the terminal. I know the command "sudo su" but to stay logged in as root al the time in everything I do?

You probably need to be root to add files to /opt/monkey or whatever directory is being used for the website files.  You can always add a directory as root and then change the ownership of that directory to the user you want to have write to it.

I don't know how monkey works, but you can probably make symbolic links from those ftp directories into your monkey website directory.  Some web servers will follow symlinks by default, others will not.  I'm not sure if Monkey does. Just make sure that user "nobody" has permission to read and enter the directories. If your Monkey chroots that would add a complication to it, though.
