hey ...
when i load DSL on a live CD it's working till after the green part loading and the usb detection... after that my floppy drive's green bulb is on but it doesn't make sounds like hihihihiuouhouhh no sounds... i even tried to put a floppy disk inside but nothing... my friend told me to press F2&F3 and then to choose something but i don't know what exactly ...
please help me :-( :-( :-( :-(

i even tried to unplug the floppy drive and start it on "lowram" and all the stuff but nothing!!!
i realy dislike xp and adore linux but my comp is slow and old pentium III 133 ram
if you can't help me then can you tell me what are my options for othr distro's???

try this at the first boot prompt:

boot:  dsl vga=normal noapic noacpi pnpbios=off acpi=off noapm

if it still fails try this one:

boot: failsafe
