Hello!
In my computer I got 2 soundcards: build-in AC'97 and SB Live. I want to use SB for xmms and AC97 for microphone and headphones (skype in future). Is it possible to configure that? I'm using DSL flash-usb..

Thanks!

Hi stand. Yes, it is possible to autoconfigure it by inserting modules as necessary (modprobe and insmod). In my case, I was lucky with one of my computers (my music DAW), which has a motherboard soundcard (nothing special - just ES 1373) and a nice Yamaha PCI soundcard I bought. DSL auto-detected the PCI card automatically, identifying it correctly.

EDIT: oh hang on - you want to use both cards at the same time. Wouldn't that cause an interrupt conflict? Perhaps someone else might know.

Under WinXP it works fine!
I,m using SB for listening music and AC for headphones and microphone. I'd like it to be the same way under DSL.
