Hi
Is it just me or does anybody else have a problem downloading for ibiblio. I have been trying to download 3.4, using DSL3.3, Puppy and damn-it WINDOWS from the < ftp://ibiblio >  but it never completes the download. It says it's done but it's always off by 5 to 7 meg.
WTF

Probably the same, but:

use "wget -c <url>" to resume a broken download.

Ibiblio is slow, and does cut out sometimes, but in its defense it is doing a great service by donating server space to many open source projects and free information.

Well, I find ibiblio to be one of the fastest ones around here.  Even though that depends on which network I'm on, I use it as my primary mirror.

I'm probably pointing out the obvious, but there are other mirrors and protocols.  Interesting use of caps, though.

For large or problematic downloads I always use the prozilla or ProzGUI extensions. (I also use on other distros).

Like wget -c it will keep trying until it gets the whole file, and it opens 4 connections at once by default (configurable).  Can quit and resume too.

Best downloader there is for linux imho.
