I checked the 3.4 initrd-version (50MB mkinitrd24.gz), everything worked fine like in 3.3 but I could only use 1-7 /dev/cloop's (for the extensions). In < a thread from February > the problem was already described but not solved. I could fix it for me by replacing the cloop.o in the 50MB minirt24 by the "old" cloop.o (which is slightly bigger.

Maybe this is helpful for other excessive extension-users  :)
