I am very impressed with DSL. I have tried the live cd and used it for a little while off and on but I just did an hd-install. I love it. It is quick, smooth, has all the things I need to get started. It is great. The Hd-Install was so easy my cat could have done it. My favorite distro has been Mandrake 10.0 Official. Well DSL is now my favorite, though Mandrake is a close second.Webwolf Posted by Mathiasdm on June 11 2004,17:28
I totally agree! I've tried Knoppix on my old computer already, but it ran like a turtle.DSL however, is wonderful! It runs fast and does what I want it to do Posted by Error403 on June 17 2004,12:34
It's also perfect for a newbie like me.

dsl rocks. here's yhardware detection equivalent to knoppix smaller, faster than knoppix. use mydsl to customised handpicked apps, once the dsl depository's sizable, the world should notice. all the build-in apps are there for a (very good) reason, once you figured it out, you just cant live without it. I hv been using knoppix for years, still could not figure out why Konqueror and Mozilla is still the chosen browser. but damn! wassup with the "Damn" ? Posted by AwPhuch on June 24 2004,15:57
