Dear John (or whom it may concern)!

First of all, this is no big deal, but when I ordered a DSL copy on a creditcard size cd the last time I got the 4.1 version even though the 4.3 version was out. This is as I said no big deal (it's my way of giving thanks for the good work you guys are doing since I'm using DSL as my production environment) but I would like to know if I would get the 4.3 version if I order a copy now (because I would really want one).

Have fun everybody helping out in developing this incredible distro,
meo

How can I get a creditcard sized version of DSL 4.3? That size of cd's are not awailable in Sweden. Thankful for any response.

Have fun with DSL,

Really??? I bought some of those while visiting one of the Clas Ohlson shops one or two years ago. It wasn't in Sweden, but as they sell the same line of products all over Scandinavia, I suggest you try there.

Hi florian!

Thank you for the suggestion but they don't sell them anymore. It's even hard to get 8 cm cd's here now.

Have fun guys,
meo

I have only seen mini-DVD's in shops too. The mini-cd's are nice though, tell if you find them :)

Hi curaga!

I found some quite a while ago and I bought them all (and used them all) but now it seems that they have vanished from this country. I've been looking and asking around at stores in big cities here in Sweden but without result. I saw that the "Clas Ohlson" store (which originates from Sweden) had them and was about to order some but they stopped selling them before I got to order them. Imagine how I felt after that! The closest I've come to get some of them was directly from Taiwan where they produce them, but then I had to order like 500 cd's or so. A friend I have had an import business and he said he could order them and use them to advertise for his products (and I could get some of them from him) but that stayed at the planning stage. So we'll see what happends. I might try to order another from DSL and hope I get the 4.3 version this time. It's kind of important for a project I have.

Keep on having fun with DSL,
meo

Could you give a link to that Taiwanese company?

Hi again curaga!

I'm sorry but I don't remember. I just found it with the help of "Mr Google" so I suggest you try that too.

Have fun using DSL the way that suits you,
meo

Are you looking for blank/printable ones, or for printed ones?

How's .27 cents per printable cd sound?

Hi chaostic!

Sounds nice to me. I just wonder what the shipping cost to Sweden would be.

I think I'll give the DSL store another try to see if I get the 4.3 version this time.

Have fun with this versatile distro,
meo

Reviving this thread because it's somewhat germane... I scored a full spindle of mini CDs -- Memorex Pocket CD-R 210MB/24min x 50 --in the original wrapper for 50-cents this morning at a garage sale. If John isn't mailing out mini-CDs anymore, I can make a few.

Edit: Before any twits accuse me of profiteering, I'll offer the same terms I said I'd offer to make extensions via donations (covering the costs of shipping, etc.) to:
1. OpenBSD and/or OpenSSH.
2. vim (Bram's preference is that donations for vim go to the following program in Uganda).

3. Or another suitable and mutually acceptable open source project or children's charity. (For the record, I don't and won't support FSF.)
