Hi,

May I know how to copy and paste files inside the "file manager".

I surf for info in the " < http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page" >

but no explanation on this area.

This is a pure application question, apology for my poor understanding in DSL.

I wish some one could give me an advise.

Thanks

Shek

Are you using dsl-3.x or dsl 4.x?

By "file manager" I guess you are looking for emelfm - the equivalent of windows explorer in dsl?

In dsl-3.x you can click on the icon that looks like a file cabinet to start emelfm. In dsl-4.x you can use the right-click menu to navigate to emelfm

To cut and paste in emelfm you navigate on one side of emelfm to where the file is that you want to copy and on the other side to where you want to paste the file. Next you highlight the file you want to copy and click on the "copy" button.
