Hi All, I have the latest version of DSL and there is no script in /usr/bin hd-install. Mkliloboot is there. What am I to do? I tried using the script from 4xx version, running from a floppy and DSL wouldn't boot into fluxbox and when I manually started fluxbox it was farked!
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Try /usr/sbin
Be sure to run it a root (sudo su)

Also, if you want to find where a command is try using whereis

whereis dsl-hdinstall
