Ah, well, I finally signed up for the message boards, but I have decided that I would post what I think of DSL.

DSL is a nice small distro, which took about 1/16th of the time of downloading a full distro to download and burn it. This was a very nice feature.

This runs flawlessly on both my 200MHz machine, and my 2.0GHz machine.

The programs on here are very good for thier size, and it is because of these that such a great distro was created. May I suggest allowance for....say, ISO's with different features, such as one that has KDE, or Gnome. This would come in handy for a lot of the newbs, or GUI based computer users. Yes, It will be more than 50MB, but it would still be realitavley small. Definatley under 500MB(what the average linux distro is now).

So, I praise the creator of this wonderful distro, you leave me much room on my 80GB HDD to install needless applications :D.

I myself may create a distro which is around 150MB so that I may have more features avaliable to me "out of the box".

Any Comments/Suggestions?

I think John will always keep DSL under 50mg if you want Kde or more applications try morphix.sourceforge.net. It is a debian based live cd like DSL but with a lot more options(modules) I prefer DSL but this might suit your needs better.
