Ok,here goes it. I would like to download the DSL to my USB Jumpdrive.  Can I do that?  Also, what is ISO and what is MD5 Checksum.  My Linux experience is very small like my brain.  can someone please help.
Thanks in advance

An ISO is a single file you download for a program. What you will need to do save the ISO to a folder on the hard drive where you can remember where you put it.
Next you will (if you have a CD burner) start up the software that mostlikely came with it that you use to burn with. Like mine came with "Nero" by Ahead software. Anyway if it's an up to date package it will have a section for ISO burns.  Just find the ISO file you downloaded and you may have to click a tab in the cd burner's wizard labeled ISO and then you pretty much follow the directions from there.
Now the checksum is a way to verify that the ISO you downloaded is complete and free of any defects that may result from a dirty DL.  There is a little program you download here. < http://www.toast442.org/gl....1406760 >
:;): Good Luck letme know if you have any questions on all this.
