well i personally, haven't had the privilage of using DSL yet, but i have read enough reviews to know it's something i want, so i ordered 2 copies of it to support the project, but i never got an e-mail verification and was curiouse if this was normal or if i should be worried ... any info would be nice

... i can't wait to get my hands on DSL, i run Slackware as my main desktop but i have some old hardware that i would love to put DSL on and i want to take it with me everywhere and show linux-haters how kick ass it can be at just a 50MB live cd

Is it rewritable?

I would pay for this in a heartbeat if it came on a rewritable bizcard, so I could reburn it for updates. Any chance of that?

how do log in as root? i can't seem to guess the password

Just use the 'sudo command' to get root access eg:

sudo tex (this would run tex as root)
sudo su (would give root access at the terminal)

or just select the root terminal from the fluxbox menu

If you decide to do a hdd install, it will ask you for new passowrds on reboot of that install.
