it boots great on my 1.3gtz machine... but on my 486SX the linux kernel barfs stating that no math co-processor or emulation is present .. is there a work around?

Nopers. Sorry.

DSL requires a coprocessor.

I think that older versions (<0.5.0) it would work with no coprocessor, but that was a long time ago.
