In the upper left corner of any window there's a little dot.

If you click on it, it becomes a little square.

Click on it and becomes a little dot again.

What's that do?  ???

Thanks!

If you click on the little dot, and it becomes a small square, you have 'pinned'
that window to your screen..  If you select any of your 3 desktops thru
either the litle arrows at the bottom bar, next to 'workspace 1' , or ,
use the bbpager in the left bottom corner, your 'task' that you pinned will
not disappear.  If you click again, and get the little dot again, as you change
desktops, your 'task' will stick to that desktop, or workspace, and not the screen.

Great, if this would somehow work with XMMS....
Help? Anyone?

Here's a link to a very detailed user manual on how Fluxbox works.

Unfortunately, the target audience of the manual is the installer of the program and not a casual user, IE: no helpful screen captures, for example.

In XMMS go Options->Preferences, click the Options tab, towards the bottom, on the left is "Do not hide windowmanager decorations".  Check that box, and it should (no promises, I haven't tried it in Fluxbox myself) show the regular wm 'frame' around xmms.
